FPG Insurance Bayanihan Community Outreach Program - June 2024 PROMOTING PERSONAL HYGIENE TO THE YOUNGER GENERATION FPG INSURANCE – BAYANIHAN EFFORT On June 22, 2024, FPG Insurance organized a commendable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity focusing on personal hygiene at Pedro P. Cruz Elementary School in Mandaluyong. The event was specifically designed to educate and support the community from Barangka Drive. The activity saw the participation of 50 children along with their parents. The primary goal was to instill the importance of good personal hygiene and cleanliness among the attendees. FPG Insurance`s dedicated team conducted interactive and engaging sessions that highlighted essential hygiene practices, including proper handwashing techniques, oral care, and general cleanliness. To further encourage the children, FPG Insurance distributed personal hygiene kits which included toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and hand sanitizers. Along with these essentials, the company also gifted toys to the children, adding an element of joy to the educational experience. Barangay officials were enthusiastic about the initiative. SK Chairman Jade Esquivel remarked, “This is the first personal hygiene education for this barangay, and we are happy that FPG Insurance engaged with the kids below 10 years old.” Kagawad James Hugo added, “This activity is beneficial to the community, especially to the younger generation 10 and below, since we don`t have too many programs for this age bracket.” Brgy. Chairman Darwin Fernandez also expressed his support, stating, “We will fully support FPG Insurance in any community service activities it will do with our community and would be happy to provide assistance to tap into more people who need it.” This CSR activity by FPG Insurance underscores their commitment to giving back to the community and promoting healthier lifestyles.
