Travel Insurance Premium

Premium with COVID-19 Coverage

  1. REPATRIATION OF MOTAL REMAINS - 5% Surcharge
    • due to pre-existing condition up to USD 20,000 on all plan destination and limit options except for USD 10,000 Medical Pllan where the limit for this subject benefit shall only be up to USD 10,000 only
  2. HAZARDOUS NON-PROFESSIONAL SPORTS - 100% Surcharge
    • Applicable to Adventure Sports excluding Competitive, Winter Sports and Extra Hazardous Sports
  3. SPORTS EQUIPMENT (part of the policy sub-limit for checked-in luggage) - 50% Surcharge
    • Covers Breakage or scratching of sports equipment whilst checked-in and declared to the airline company. Subject to declaration of sports items upon issuance of the Travel Policy
    • Fragile objects are not covered
  4. CRUISE COVER - 26% Surcharge
    • This is applicable for  INTERNATIONAL CRUISE PROGRAM which may:
      1. start from the Philippines via cruise or;
      2. trips that commence via Commercial Airline

WORLDWIDE - Provides worldwide cover, excluding The Philippines

SCHENGEN - Provides cover on the following Schengen Countries

  1. Pre-existing conditions
  2. Suicide & self-inflicted injuries
  3. Illness or pathological states caused by the voluntary consumption of alcohol, drugs, toxic substances, narcotics or medicines acquired without medical prescription as well as any kind of mental illness or mental imbalance
  4. Extraordinary natural phenomena such as floods, earthquakes, landslides, volcanic eruptions, etc.
  5. Events arising from terrorism, mutiny or crowd disturbances
  6. Injuries resulting from competitions, sports & training tests
  7. Wars with or without prior declaration, and any conflicts or International interventions using force or duress

WITHOUT COVID-19 COVER

  • All applications for insurance coverage are subject to approval of FPG Insurance and conformity with FPG's Travel Agreement International prior to insurance quotation or policy commencement.
  • Age elibigility
    • Minor: 4 weeks to 17 years old
    • Adult: 18 - 80 years old
    • For person aged between 60 and 65 years old, subject to 50% premium surcharge
    • For person aged between 66 and 75 years old, subject to 100% premium surcharge
    • For person aged between 76 and 80 years old, subject to 150% premium surcharge
  • Annual cover for frequent travelers provides unlimited trips but not to exceed 180 consecutive days per trip
  • Europe Schengen Visa requires Elite cover

WITH COVID-19 COVER

  • Maximum Days of Coverage allowed (Indemnified Program)
    1. For Two Way continuous leisure / business trips – COVID-19 is covered up to a maximum 180 days only
    2. For Two Way Annual Multi Trip – COVID-19 is covered up to a maximum of 90 days per Trip Only
    3. For OFW One Way Trip for Travel Requirements to go to country of work destination abroad – COVID-19 is covered up to a maximum of 21 days Only; Excluding USA and Canada
    4. For One Way Trip Non OFWs – COVID-19 is covered up to 24 hours upon reaching immigration
  • Maximum Age

    Up to 65 years old only; not to be offered to travelers more than 65 years old

  • Eligible Individuals
    • Applicable to Individual and Family ONLY 

      NOTE: Individuals are eligible up to a maximum of 10 people travelling at the same time with the same travel date and destination

    • Not to be offered to Groups (i.e, Individuals who are more than 10 and who are travelling at the same time, with the same date and destination)

Terms and Conditions of COVID-19 Rider

  • RT-PCR Test is part of the medical expenses limit and is ONLY covered for symptomatic patients
  • Hospitalization due to Covid-19 will only be covered IF medically required and necessary as determined by a medical practitioner based on the condition of the Insured patient.
  • Any quarantine expenses are NOT covered either as a requirement upon arrival in the foreign country (i.e., known risk) or as a requirement for a Covid-19 positive Insured.
  • We do NOT cover any medical evacuation / repatriation of people with the active virus.
  • We do NOT cover the hospitalization expenses IF the required quarantine facility for an asymptomatic or mild symptomatic case patient is in a hospital in that particular country abroad.
  • Medical check-ups due to Covid-19 for symptomatic patients that do not require hospitalizations (i.e., mild cases) IS NOT covered; Only the RT-PCR Tests are covered for MILD symptomatic cases that would not require hospitalization
  • For Trip Cancellation coverage (Prior to commencing on the scheduled domestic trip or prior to leaving the Philippines): “Serious illness understood as any unexpected alteration of the Insured's state of health that involves risk of death or implies hospitalization and makes it impossible to start the contracted trip”.  If the reason for cancellation is due to Covid-19, the insured is obliged to submit a positive Covid-19 test performed 14 days before the start of the trip.  [Contracting Covid-19 would require a positive Covid-19 test to validate that Insured has Covid-19, and would not rely on self-diagnosis or unsubstantiated doctors report.
  • EXCLUDES coverage on expenses due to prolonging the stay of a positive Covid-19 who cannot travel but is asymptomatic and has not required medical attention and carrying out Covid-19 tests as a preventive measure or in asymptomatic policyholders, expenses related to mandatory quarantines without medical criteria.  For those who have undergone hospitalization, our policy has a standard wording that only allows automatic extension of up to 10 days only from the initial expiry date if extension is due to a covered illness.
  • Commercial gestures related to Covid-19 Coverages, by general definition, will not be allowed unless covered under the Terms and Conditions of this Covid-19 Travel Rider Indemnified Package.
  • This Covid-19 Rider is specific to Covid-19 ONLY and will not extend to cover any other epidemic, pandemic and any communicable disease declared by any government agency, entity or in an executive order causing a state of emergency in any area and necessitating the setting up of appropriate quarantine measures therein.
  • Any other epidemic, pandemic and any communicable disease declared by any government agency, entity or in an executive order causing a state of emergency in any area and necessitating the setting up of appropriate quarantine measures therein are also NOT covered under the main travel contract.
  1. What is Travel Insurance?

    Travel Insurance is your protection in the event that an accident or sickness occur while you are travelling outside or within the Philippines. 

  2. What are the benefits of having a Travel Insurance?

    The FPG Travel will keep you worry-free given the numerous benefits under the international and domestic travel where losses of money/belongings and accident are covered. 

  3. When does your Travel Insurance begin and end?

    The Insured is covered whilst travelling, the coverage commences upon entry to the Airport in the Philippines and terminates upon exit of the Airport in the Philippines.

  4. What is the age limit for a person covered under Travel Insurance?

    For International Travel covers up to 80 years old

    For Domestic Travel covers up to 70 years old

  5. How can I claim under Travel Insurance?

    FPG Travel has a 24/7 hotline (+632) 8459-4768 and a dedicated personnel who will attend to you while you are outside the Philippines. For Domestic Travel, you can call (+632) 8859-1200 or (+632) 7944-1300 for immediate assistance.

  6. Can I still buy Travel Insurance even if I have pre-existing condition?

    Yes, you can still purchase travel insurance. However, FPG Travel International can only cover pre-existing conditions up to US$ 500. Whilst, domestic travel does not cover pre-existing conditions.    

  7. What if after purchase of the Travel Insurance I was declined by the Embassy, can I cancel my Travel Insurance and refund the premium?

    The company will grant your request for policy cancellation upon submission of proof of denial for Visa application form the Embassy. The premium will be refunded except for the documentary stamps and taxes paid to the government. 

  8. If I travel frequently for a year, can I avail of an annual Travel Insurance?

    Yes, FPG Travel International provides annual cover for frequent travelers with unlimited trips but not to exceed (180) consecutive days per trip. 

  9. What are the advantages of our FPG Travel (International) compared to others?

  10. Does the FPG Travel offers a family package at a discounted rate?

    NO. Application and KYC form only.
